What is Reformer Pilates?
Reformer Pilates is done on a Reformer machine, rather than a mat. The Reformer machine adds resistance, using springs, and instability to traditional Pilates exercises. This requires your body to engage more muscles to control the carriage, This strengthens the core, improves balance, posture and flexibility.
Where can I find you?
We are located in Westgate House on Westgate Retail Park in Gloucester. Walk through the main door and we are in the Rotunda on the first left.
Is there parking?
Yes, there is parking at Westgate Retail Park. This is free for two and a half hours. Reform & Flow will not be responsible for any parking tickets.
How do I book onto a class?
Go to Plans & Pricing to view our packages. Purchase the package that works for you and the credits will be added to your account. Head to Book A Class and you will be able to view the timetable and book onto a class.
Do you have an app?
Yes, please download 'Spaces by Wix' on your app store. Search for Reform & Flow and we will be at the top. Click join and you will be able to book onto classes, reschedule and cancel.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
Yes, classes can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours before the class using the 'Spaces by Wix' app. If cancelling within 24 hours of the class, you will be not refunded/class will not be re-credited to your account. You will not be able to reschedule the class either. If cancelling less than 24 hours before the class, please let the studio know via email, social media or using the chat section on the app.
I am pregnant, can I do Reformer Pilates?
If your pregnancy is not high risk and your midwife has confirmed it is okay for you do to Pilates, then yes. The teacher will be able to give you adaptations for exercises throughout your pregnancy. Please make sure you state on your health declaration that you are currently pregnant.
I am injured, can I do Reformer Pilates?
Reformer Pilates is a great form of rehabilitation for minor injuries. Adaptations and modifications can be made to exercises for those with minor injuries. If suffering with a more significant injury, please get approval from a qualified professional such as a physiotherapist and contact the studio prior to booking onto a class explaining the injury and any limitations there is. We can then advise if Reformer Pilates is appropriate and whether a group class or private session is suitable.
